The Database upgrade workflow is similar to the database installation workflow. Administrators still have two methods (Oracle SQL Developer or sqlplus command line) to execute the oracle script to upgrade the Configuration database. The following steps describe the upgrade process for Oracle databases.
The default database name is 'Dekho' in all cases.
Step 01> If 'Dekho' is not the Configuration Database name, change the default database name in the script, otherwise goto the next step.
Alter session set current_schema = dekho;
Step 02> Save the upgrade script.
This applies to both Command line and SQL Server Management Studio upgrade methods.
Executing the Oracle Database upgrade script requires practically the same set of steps as the installation script. So the workflow is very similar and is set out here.
