Using WildCards

WildCard options are available for most user input field entries. Using Wildcards means users won’t need to type the entire value for type-ahead queries.

No Wildcard means users will need to type the entire value.

Use the End with Wildcard when users type the start of the value. Like for instance, type ‘Mel’ and Melbourne will appear as an option.

Use the Start with Wildcard to allow users to type the middle or end values of the search. Like ‘rne’ will and Melbourne will appear as an option.

Start and End with Wildcard applies both the above wildcard options.
