View and Create Firewall Policy Rules

Create a new web publishing rule for Dekho.

Step 01> Click Publish Web Sites as shown, and follow the New Web Publishing Rule Wizard.


Step 02> In the Select Rule Action Select Allow, this allows specific traffic to pass through to Dekho.

Step 03> Click Next.

Step 04> In Publishing Type form, Select Publish a single Web site or load balancer.

Step 05> Click Next.

Step 06> On the Server Connection Security form, Select the appropriate type of connection to make to Dekho. These steps outline the Non-secured approach.

Step 07> Click Next.

Step 08> On the Internal Publishing Details form, Enter the Internal site name to the name of the Dekho Server.

Step 09> Enter the published server IP address.

Step 10> Click Next.

Step 11> On the Internal Publishing Names form, Enter the Path, which will match the name of directory path to the Dekho.war file.

Step 12> Click Next.

Step 13> On the Public Names Details form, Enter the Public Name, this is the address of the proxy server.

Step 14> Click Next.

In the process of creating the publish web site rule, a new web listener was created for ISA to state where the requests for Dekho will be coming from (port number) and what type of requests it will be listening for (HTTP and/or HTTPS).

Step 15> Follow the Web Listener Definition Wizard, ISA is by default on the IIS default port 80.

Step 16> On the Client Connection Security form, Select the Client Connection Security Type.  This guide steps through creating and connection without SSL.

Step 17> On the Web Listening IP Address form, Select the source(s) for incomming requests.

Step 18> In Authentication Settings, Select how clients will authenticate with ISA, this guide outlines the no authentication method.

Step 19> Review the summary of you listener settings and finish the Listener Wizard.

Step 20> Continue with the Web Rule Publishing Wizard, selecting the newly created Web Listener.

Step 21> In Authentication Delegation form, Select No delegation, and client cannot authenticate directly.

Step 22> Review the Publishing Rule Wizard summary and complete the wizard.

Step 23> Under the Policy Editing Task on the Tasks Tab, Click the Edit Selected Rule to open the Publish 'dekho' on Proxy Server Properties form

Step 24> Select the Paths Tab and Click Add to add a Path Mapping.

Step 25> The folder name in the Path mapping is the same name as the Dekho cache folder in the cache.dir and cache.url Dekho Settings.

Step 26> Select the Bridging tab, enable Redirect requests to http port and set the port to the port the Dekho Apache Tomcat instance is using, by default 8080.

Step 27> Click OK to apply the changes.

Step 28> Click Apply to save all changes.
